Bodyboard Pro Tour 2012: 3a etapa Açores

O campeonato começou hoje aqui em S. Miguel na praia de Sta Bárbara, Ribeira Grande. Já estou nas meias finais, após um dia grande de muitas emoções. As condições não foram as melhores mas até estiveram umas ondas boas que proporcionaram um grande espetáculo e bom nível. Amanhã o check-in está agendado para as 10h na praia dos areais de Sta Bárbara para se decidir o spot para a realização das últimas baterias desta penúltima etapa do Bodyboard Pro Tour 2012, como opções há os areais e a maia.

Acompanhem o campeonato através do site OFICIAL e através do Facebook da APB. Para o pessoal local aparecam que o espetáculo está garantido.

The comp started today here in S. Miguel on the beach of Santa Barbara, Ribeira Grande. I'm in the semi finals after a big day of lots of emotions. The conditions were not the best but there were some good waves that provided a great show and good level of bodyboard. Tomorrow check-in is scheduled for 10am at Santa Barbara to decide the spot finish the 3rd stage of the Bodyboard Pro Tour 2012, there are 2 options such as Santa Bárbara and Maia.

Tinha acabado de perder o pé de pato após levar com o lip no pé. Estive durante um bocado há procura dele na zona onde o perdi mas nada de aparecer. Entretanto veio um set e apareceu-me esta onda (fotos abaixo) e como o mar estava com tamanho e com fortes correntes pensei que o tivesse perdido e então lá fui e vim cá fora buscar outro pé de pato para continuar a surfar. 1h depois saí da água e quando estava a vestir-me um surfista estava a sair com o meu pé de pato na mão! Foi mais sorte que juízo haha. Mas perdi-o novamente há umas semanas e dessa vez nunca mais o encontrei. A sorte nem sempre está do nosso lado.

 Just had lostes my fin after been taked by a lip on my foot. I was looking for a while but couldn't find. Then came up a set and this one came and with the sizeable waves and strong currents that day I though the fin was gone so I had a go (photos below) to go out and pick another fin. After 1 hour, I left the water and when I was dressing up a surfer found my fin and brought with with when he was coming from the water. Soo lucky. But I losted it couple of weeks ago and couldn't find it, after 50 times loose it and find it again. Luck never is by our side.
